I needed a fancy dress outfit. To avoid spending money on a one-time use outfit, I bought these face paints instead. I'd never done any face painting before. Undaunted I went straight for my own design! I found them easy to use. I tried applying myself with some success, but it was really much easier having someone paint my face. The face paint lasted the whole evening. When it was time to remove it, it washed away very easily leaving no mess. I was definitely over-thinking before deciding on this set but it was excellent. For a bit of party fun, this is all you need. Very pleased!

The paint seems to be not aggressive and not irritate the skin, and also holds well. I usually dance after putting some on, and regardless of sweat it stays on. Maybe it starts to mold a bit but that’s just a bit
Great product. Vibrant colors and so easy to apply,grand daughter loved them and had great fun as she wanted her legs covered as well. Once bed time came I was amazed at how easy it was to remove the artwork on her skin. Just water in shower took it all off fast and then soap to finish. Can highly recommend these face paints
Honestly, my biggest concern is always whether it easily washes off. I used baby wipes to remove this product from my own face first as a test, then let my eczema prone toddler try it. It feels oil-based as it glides smoothly and removes so easily. We used a brush for detail and filled in with the stick itself. Both techniques created vivid color. The package shows a few designs using other colors so my kids immediately asked me to make a lion next. I've checked and this maker also has a multi-pack which is super affordable and now on my list for the next birthday. Fun, effective product at an affordable price.
I really like these face paint sticks. The twist up design makes it super convenient to use without making a mess, and it glides on smoothly without dragging on the skin. The color is vibrant and provides great coverage with very little effort. One of my favorite things is how easy it is to wash off afterward. It comes off with soap and water without having to scrub forever, which is a huge plus. For the price, it's a great value and would be perfect for costumes, face painting, school events, or just having fun. The color selection is awesome too. I'm definitely buying more colors.

I have bought several Blue Squid face painting products in the past and have always been very happy with the quality. This product is no different. My kids adore face paints, but I'm a bit artistically challenged and usually end up with disappointed kids when I'm doing the painting. That's why I LOVE this set. It is so easy to make a perfect rainbow or color blend with a swipe. The brushes, especially the large brush, is perfect. These paints are easy to apply and difficult to unintentionally smudge. They dry quickly and are removed very easily and completely with soap and water or even a baby wipe. I love that this is a fun artistic kit that I can confidently give to my kids and let them go wild painting each other's or their own faces without having to worry about staining or oily paints that are difficult to clean off of skin. Overall, I think this is a wonderful product and recommend Blue Squid to every parent I know. I think the price (currently $14.99) is a good value. Highly recommend. This Blue Squid face paint is good quality. The paint colors are bright and vibrant. The opacity of the paint is good. This set comes with tons of colors in a very compact palette. This face paint is very similar in look and quality to Anka Bella. I have quite a bit of Anka Bella face paint as it is my favorite brand. This Blue Squid is very similar and even has the paint in a nearly identical palette compact. I am very happy with the quality, vibrancy, and opacity of this paint. It goes on easy and blends well. It washes off with a little soap and water. It is also much more affordable than its closest competitor.
We decided to be Pop Art Zombies for Halloween this year and wanted a smooth face paint. These worked great and were easy to use for first time users. Came off very easily as well. Only issue was some of the colors shown in the product photos were not the same in real life. For example, no neon green that we needed. We had to blend our own. The pallet was a dark green. But we were happy with the coverage and vibrancy!

This product is great. Super easy to use and a tiny bit of water goes a long way. Extremely pigmented. I did a smudge test once dry and it stayed put. When I washed it off it came off very easily. Definitely recommend
We tested these before using them for a Community BBQ and they were worth it! Included are 3 brushed, 12 colors, booklet with a dozen ideas, and sticker and stencil appliqués. You may want to purchase a 1-1.5” brush for easier full face application. The stickers that come with the kit work best on an arm or hand, applied with a makeup sponge. We couldn’t quite workout the plastic stencils but we also didn’t look into how to use them. We used this on an extremely hot day - no skin reactions from anyone and there no runny paint on faces from the heat. We also stayed away from painting on the eyelid. Washing was simple with soap and water and NO OILY RESIDUE left on face like other face paints. Worth the extra $$ for the quality and size group we had.

This was my first time using face paint. The paints are not too sheer, and it's easy to layer on colors. I used a makeup sponge to apply the base colors and the brushes from the set for the details. I have sensitive skin and this paint did not cause any sort of reaction. I would give it a 4/5 for not smudging (the black color smudged when touched). Removal was easy with water and soap. Looking forward to using these for my next costume!

These face paints are a great size and great quality. I used them to create a tiger face on my daughter for Halloween. It was so convenient that it included 3 brushes to assist in application of the fine details. They were easy to wash off at the end of our event.
The colors are vibrant I love that the colors are in a case and they click in and out of the case and they don’t fall out.
Goes on smoothy and evenly. Sometimes when you add watered down facepaint on top of already applied facepaint the old stuff wipes off, so be careful. We bought this specially for our daughter with sensitive skin.
Paint came into next day with prime. It was well packaged and has a great variety. It is kid friendly. We had a lot of fun using them. I wish it came with a sponge and glitter too.

Great colors. Vibrant. Easy to remove. My whole face was painted green for well over 14 hours. Soap and water easily got it off without leaving any tint.
This paint did an amazing job and held up all day. I only had a few smudges from my glasses and where I scratched around my nose a tad, and my lips. This is first applied, after work, and then after trick or treating. It stayed on and then washed off easily in the shower with water and bar soap. The red didn’t stain like others have in the past. This was exactly what I wanted.
