      Are Blue Squid face paints safe for children?

      Yes! All Blue Squid face paints are non-toxic, dermatologically tested, and fully FDA & EU compliant. They are designed to be safe for use on children's skin, including sensitive skin types. Always perform a patch test before full application.

      How do I remove the face paint?

      Wash off with soap and warm water. Makeup remover or baby wipes can also help, and a little skin-safe oil can be useful for any stubborn colour.

      Do I need water or brushes to use them?

      No. The crayons are ready to use straight from the pack — simply draw directly onto clean, dry skin.

      Will the colours smudge?

      For best results, apply to clean, dry skin and allow the colour to settle. Like most face paint, heavy sweating, rubbing or prolonged contact with water can cause some smudging.

      Are they suitable for sensitive skin?

      Yes. Our Face Paint Crayons are non-toxic, hypoallergenic, paraben-free and fragrance-free, making them suitable for sensitive skin. As with any cosmetic product, we still recommend a small patch test before first use.
