Love this face paint. It's very light on the skin and drys fast. This white is very white too if that makes sense. No need to apply multiple layers for a good white back ground.
This stuff is awesome! We needed a UV light reactive white paint and this one delivered.
Gorgeous color
Probably the best neon facepaint I've used. It looked a little pale before being under the UV but as soon as you went under it was so vibrant and stayed on well. The picture was a hot show and the black (snazaroo) started dripping early, but the blue squid never moved.

Ich habe mir vorsorglich vier Stück gesichert – sicher ist sicher. Ein kleiner Tipp am Rande: Ohne Auftragsschwämmchen wird das Ganze zur Kunstperformance. Also entweder gleich mitbestellen oder kreativ werden. Die Deckkraft? Nun, wer sich mit einem Hauch von Blau zufriedengibt, kann sparsam sein – wer aber wirklich schlumpfig leuchten möchte, sollte mehrmals auftragen. Fazit: Blaue Daumen hoch! Ich würde es jederzeit wieder kaufen. Fünf Sterne und ein fröhliches "Schlumpf ahoi!" 🎭💙

deckt sehr gut, nach der ersten Trocknung ca. 3-5 Min. mit Schwämmchen nachtupfen, dann bekommt man ein sehr gutes Ergebnis.
They work perfectly! No complaints, very pigmented, and easy to work with! The palette is my absolute favorite, no weird smells, very pigmented
2020.04.27 Update: We originally posted this as an update to our Blue Squid Face and Body Paint, but have added it here as it also pertains to this Pro Palette. We added two 100W LED UV lamps (search for Onforu 2 Pack 100W UV LED Black Light) to our room that is about 14 foot square (that's 196 square feet). If you want TRULY impressive results (we now have TWO 27W and TWO 100W lamps in this room) we think 400W would be ideal. Looking back, we'd have preferred to start with 100W lamps, though be advised they DO give off a lot of heat from the back - be careful or mount them where others cannot contact the back of the lamps (the 27W lamps don't have this issue). We consulted with a special effects makeup expert friend. The FASTEST way to lay down paint is to use the Blue Squid PRO - 6x10g Neon Color Palette and a makeup sponge. However, we did do one thing our expert hadn't thought of. Rather than use WATER, we used BellaJade - Makeup Setting Spray with Organic Green Tea, MSM and DMAE. What this did is gave us the consistency of water, but... the makeup stayed in place and BARELY rubbed off. Useful. On the advice of our special effects makeup friend we DID buy an airbrush. Sure, it works, and does work with the BellaJade, but know what you are going after, an airbrush without a frisket, makes a soft line, and takes time. It's also hard to mix the LIQUID blue squid for the airbrush to the right consistency so that it sticks and doesn't run like water...and then you may clog the airbrush. We speculate we could use the airbrush for designs that have lots of soft lines. You can cover larger areas with a sponge quite fast. What we used...is BLUE painters tape on her skin. Yep! Sounds crazy, and we would stick with a 3M product ONLY which uses superior adhesives so that it comes off easy. Just take care with slowly removing the tape. It produced a darn near perfect edge with the sponge. Then we dried it a bit with a hair dryer. You should do all this work while under UV light to monitor your intensity. Once the paint is dry, it's hard to go over it again without loosening it with the BellaJade. Seemed hard to try to do another coat, as you might paint a wall, so be advised. Again, the fastest (and safest and most easily removed, even with the fixer) way we found is the Blue Squid Pro Palette. Yet, again, though this review is intended for Blue Squid, we do have to bring up one fringe alternative... Neon Sharpie Brand Pens. So... they work really well, but.... yes, they are darn near permanent, are not designed for the skin, taste nasty, and require Bioderma Brand makeup remover or some other product, and time, to remove. The result is good, but the cost to your body might be a bit much. One of us does like to doodle on the back of the hand with these sharpies, though. We also figured out the photography solution. The main idea is do NOT trust your camera's metering of light. If you're using a Pixel 3a XL like we do, tap the screen and roll your exposure down and LOCK it. If you have a Canon DSLR, same thing, do not trust your light metering. With 252 combined Watts of UV light, we found an ISO1600, shutter of 1/125 and F stop of 5.0 to do the work (photographers will know how to use this data point to start). Again, we would love MORE light to lower our ISO film noise... but we do have a budget after all. Yes, a tripod would have helped for a longer shutter and lower ISO. So, 108 Watts mentioned in our initial review, not enough. 252 Watts??.... meh, we'd like more light! Draw your own conclusions. BUT DO make all walls and surfaces BLACK because as we thought, it greatly reduces the pink/purple feedback in images. We hope this provides some serious help to those trying to get it right. Again, our only request to Blue Squid would be to sell individual pancake makeups at about TRIPLE the size in the set. PLEASE?? We tend to stick with one or two colors for our designs and would prefer to buy only a larger size (3x) of what was provided in the kit. We think it would take about 4-5 pancakes to entirely cover a body. One final thought. Blacklight/UV sensitive makeup is not the same as Glow in the Dark. Blacklight makeup has a consistent glow under UV light/Blacklight but glow in the dark things start off with a strong glow effect and their glow intensity diminishes over time...like those clear sticks you break. Blacklight/UV makeup needs a UV black light source to fluoresce/glow. Glow in the dark products don't die over time.

If you’re interested in this palette for editorial style makeup or makeup for models, I highly recommend. Super pigmented, easy to use, and easy to take off so you can do multiple looks with it. Not just your average face paint!

If you are looking for some UV paints to make your looks pop under the blacklight look no further. As a MUA and face-painter I am always looking for products that make my job easier. I've tried out other UV products and have not been very impressed. However these are my new favorites. I don't have to do triple coats to get the color payoff I'm looking for. They overlap with ease and have a great consistency to them.
Some of the colors glow better than others, worked pretty well and def stayed on! Not oily or greasy like cheap face paints!

bought 7 30gr containers all different colors. 2 brown up inside, and one the wrong color. NONE OF THESE WERE A FULL 30GR. they all fell short. I won't be buying this brand again.
