March is Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month, and our ribbon color is blue. I celebrated my *seventh* Dress in Blue Day as a stage 4b patient this month. This blue face paint was to carry the look to, shall we say, the extreme. And it did the job.

My daughter is a hockey goalie and her and her teammates love to paint their faces before every game. We’ve been using this for over a year and it’s kind on her sensitive skin! It comes off pretty easily and she loves being creative with it! I just bought some more colors that go with her team so she can make her “war paint” more fun! The colors are pretty vibrant!

Very easy to apply to face. It comes in a stick but it's soft enough to make applying easy. A little goes a long ways. Draw a few stripes across your face and spread it around with your fingertip. Washes off easily with warm water and mild soap.
Great coverage even though it is a small tube.
Used for Halloween. Sooo much better than previous oil-based face paints I had bought in the past. It only takes a small bit of water and these cakes go a long way with stellar pigment transfer and true color. The colors do lighten in intensity when they dry so you might need to do more than one layer if applying thinly for large areas. For smaller areas with a smaller brush, I was able to get great opacity with one layer. I ended up only using the black, but 100% highly recommend. I used the black to make lines and designs and mixed with traditional eyeshadow to get the blended accents and look I wanted.
This is the second year in a row I have used this makeup for Halloween and it is hands down the best literally lasted for 8+ hours. Highly recommend!

This is a very pigmented, easy to apply stick. I love that it is small and compact, and there's no need for any other applicator. The pink is a bright magenta sort of color. The formula is creamy and comes off easily as well. I definitely recommend setting it with something to give it more staying power. I don't play sports, but I am a teacher and am always doing wacky things. This will be perfect to use for various events. I received individual Blue Squid Face Paint Sticks, colors: purple, red and green. They were for my future daughter-in-law to try out, who has two elementary school-aged children. She and the children are very artistic and the kids love to dress up, so I thought she might enjoy trying out these face paints. Over the years, she’s tried a few face paint brands for her the elaborate birthday parties she throws for the kids. However, she was extremely impressed with these. The colors are vibrant, they don’t smear easily, and they go on nicely. There were no skin reactions, and they held up for hours. They also washed off with soap and water. She emphasized that these weren’t your “run-of-the-mill” cheap face paints; they were quality products that she would purchase from here on out. Lastly, I like photographing products with my Apple TV Remote for size perspective. Please note my photo. These individual colors are similar to a tube of lipstick. They’re definitely a quality product.
This paint stays on, and lasts forever. We love it. I bought a palette 3 years ago and it lasted all this time, but bought another this year because we were missing colors (they pop out and have caps so you can take them in your bag for touch ups)

As the token artist-mom I got roped into helping the freshman class face-painting booth fundraiser. Another mom purchased the oil-based paints and boy and I’m glad I picked up these. The colors were super pigmented and covered great, but also watered down and acted like watercolors when I needed them to. I loved that I could move the individual paints around in the palette to arrange them just how I like. And if needed, I could take certain colors out and use them on their own. Washing up this between kids was quick whereas I’m still cleaning brushes from the oil-based paints a day later. The paint certainly held up, too. Between faces I played around and gave myself some galaxy art and hours later a store cashier thought it was a tattoo. I was the recipient of a massive rainbow across my face. Pink seemed to linger but I was able to get it off without any linger stains with a second round of face wash. One kid changed her mind after I started painted with black. A baby wipe easily cleaned her face without any shadows and I was able to paint a light colored jellyfish. The fundraiser was a success and I will be purchasing more Blue Squid paints for the student artists to use in the next face painting event.

I liked the easy application & the colours were a good mix to choose from. Bit smaller than they looked on the picture even though I paid the extra for larger size, as these where used rather quickly when I did 5 children at a party. But washed off easily too. So not bad. Oh remember to finish with a face powder to set as it will smudge very easily.
Update March 2024: the seller responded quickly after I left my review. I had purchased 7 of these and one is missing the white. They offered me a refund. I would’ve loved a white pan sent to me, but I guess this way they expect me to buy a new set. I’m going to just use a white from a different pallet I have. We need a large white anyway. So, great customer service. The paints continue to work well for my factoring class. We started practicing on practice boards (DIY dollar store clear plastic chopping board with a face drawn on paper and taped under it). The black and green are hard to get off) —- Original review: I actually love these face paints. I bought 8 sets on Black Friday to use to teach a class in February. Just opened them up - one set is missing the white. Ugh!! Of course this sucks when I’m hoping the kids will take the paints home. I will change the review to 5 if I get good seller feedback. In the attached photo of paint on my arm, the paint has been there for about 5 hours and 2 hand washes so it’s a bit smudged. It came off VERY easily with soap and water. I did a lot of research to find the most professional paint with the least toxicity. This brand was the winner. Best for sensitive skin and none of the horrible toxins in the major brands. The brushes that come with the set are good. The paints go on nicely. You’ll just need to get a face paint sponge (not regular make up sponge) for blending colors for the base.
Bright colors, creamy paint, covers well, easy to use, does leave a little residue on the skin but gone completely the next day.
Bought this after watching multiple tik tok videos. I am an oil painter and this was my first time using professional face paint. Took me a little bit to get used to the water color like pigments, but layering saved that. My boyfriend even let me paint his face! Needless to say we had the most compliments on Halloween. 10/10 would recommend and buy again!

Love these water activated face paint! Used them for Halloween, Day of the Dead & Christmas! The white is a little tricky to apply. Applies very patchy if you are using it on big areas like your whole face. But other than that love using them!
This face paint went on beautifully was easy to paint with a paintbrush. it did require getting in the shower and really washing the soap to get off. we couldn't just get it off using micellar water or wipes. But it was still fantastic for face painting. Her face was completely covered though.

This is a great product! A little bit of water to activate and apply, doesn't smear, dries pretty quickly and is easy to remove with some wipes (I recommend soap and water is you wear a lot). The picture shown was just from a quick application so, nothing fancy.
